Social Media Design
During my time with KnoxvillePage, I was tasked with strengthening their presence on social media, primarily on Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter. To create graphics, I utilized Canva, Adobe Photoshop, & Adobe Illustrator.
Writing & Research
ENG 102 - Spring 2016
During my freshmen year of college, my overarching English 102 topic was "Corporate Social Responsibility." This class allowed me to channel my love of research through my writing, and allowed me to complete three papers and one project that I was truly excited about.
For our first paper of the semester,
we selected companies who were performing excellent CSR, and I chose to review Mattel's new body-inclusive Barbie doll line. Our final paper & project was to survey college students about a CSR initiative, so I used Mattel's Barbie line. I completed eleven qualitative interviews, and developed this research poster, which ended up winning Best of Show in all English 102 classes. Today, it is displayed in The Writing Center in UTK's HSS building.

ADV 461 - Social Media
There were two overarching projects in this class, the first being an individual social app assignment, and the second being a group campaign for the local nonprofit A Ball for All.
My presentation was on the social app Houseparty, and the infographic I created is on the right with the campaign book for my team.
ADV 460 - Account Planning
This class challenged my critical thinking skills, as well as sharpened my writing abilities. We dove into the world of strategy and explored the history of account planning. I have included a Consumer Profile I developed by implementing qualitative research on a brand loyalist for Essie.
ADV 360 - Media Planning
Though challenging, this course instilled an understanding of the media sphere of advertising pertaining to utilizing SEO, Simmons OneView, and Google AdWords. Our final project was creating a media plan for Lindt, and I have included our plans book and presentation on the right.
Photojournalism
During my senior year at UTK, I had the pleasure of enrolling in a photojournalism course that presented a broader understanding of photography via storytelling. A few examples of our weekly assignments are provided below. To the right, I have provided my short essay: Why He Spins: An Examination of Margaret Bourke-White’s Impact on Photojournalism.

Infographics
While I love many methods of design, creating infographics is one of my favorites. It is a clean and simple way to display important information, and they look great on social media. Here are a few that I created for work, classes, & just for fun:
